The project came about when David ordered several drinking horns as gifts to show his appreciation to his friends. He loved the idea of a conversation item that would become a party staple. When the drinking horns arrived, to his dismay, the quality and finish were inadequate.  The age-old drinking horn had not caught up with modern standards. David shelved the horns and asked, "What if we could make the modern drinking horn?"  This is the question David raised when he met industrial designer Alex at a festive gathering.  The two menteamed up with the goal of making the drinking horn more fun and accesible.
